You cannot miss The Non –Government Initiatives Week which will be held in Szczecin in May!
The Non –Government Initiatives Week (23th – 29th May) is a cyclic event which has been held in Szczecin for the fifth time. On Monday 23 May, Szczecin non-government organizations will have their offices open for all the interested people. Open Door Days (23th-28 May) is an excellent idea to get to know non-government activities in the offices of these organisations. The year 2011 has been designated as The European Year of Volunteering, that is why VIII Polish and German Regional Pomeranian Conference will focus on volunteering. A two-day conference will finish with The Great Passion Picnic – X Szczecin Non-Government Organizations Meeting “POD PLATANAMI” (Under The Plane Trees). This huge event will be held on Sunday 29th May. You will have an occasion to meet the representatives of over 100 szczecin non-government organizations who will present their activities on promotion stands, stages and on green areas. This year you will also meet the representatives of non-government organizations from Westpomeranian region and Germany.
